George Murokore
Legal Assistant - George was involved in legal representation and giving legal advice to forced migrants in the Midwestern region of Uganda. He represented refugees in courts and other quasi-judicial bodies, legally advised clients who walked-in to our offices and actively responsible for organizing mobile legal aid clinics in forced migrant communities/refugee camps. George also conducted mediation sessions to enhance ADR mechanisms in refugee communities.  He was involved in developing capacities of justice institutions on issues of forced migrants and refugee laws and empowering forced migrants to demand their rights. Murokore worked in Private Law Firms in both Uganda and South Africa prior to joining RLP. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Wits University Johannesburg South Africa. Mr. Murokore's research interest is in International Humanitarian Law, International Human Rights Law, Refugees and Mixed Migration movements.
