Speech by HE The Ambassador of Sweden to Uganda Per Lingärde on the occasion of the European Union Human Rights Defenders Award 2020. The award was made this year to Mr Aimé Izilaba Moninga, Chair of Men of Hope Refugee Association in Uganda, quite possibly the first time ever that a male survivor of conflict-related sexual violence has been recognised at this level for his activism in pursuit of the rights of male survivors globally
