Women of Hope (WOH) is a Refugee support group of families/relatives or spouses taking care of male survivors of sexual violence in Kampala Uganda; the group is comprised of 75 registered members. The video highlights the experiences of caretakers, the role of the group and plight of Male survivors of sexual violence and their social Ecology. This video is part of activities the group made for the Commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of sexual violence in Conflict June 19 2022, under the theme: “Prevention as Protection: Enhancing structural and operational prevention of Conflict Related Sexual Violence” to accelerate momentum on National and International advocacy on conflict-related sexual violence Against Men/Boys and Women as well as inclusion of Social ecologists to promote holistic recovery and Multi-survivor programming in the Humanitarian interventions.
