After nearly a decade of protracted consultative processes, Uganda approved the National Transitional Justice Policy in June 2019 with an implementation roadmap that includes a wide dissemination, and fast tracking a law to implement the policy.To foster the conversation, a National Symposium on Transitional Justice was help on 20th - 21st, February, 2024 under the theme: National Healing, Building Consensus, and Giving Back to Conflict-Affected Communities to lay out proposals on the way forward. During this convening, youth were given a platform to air our their voices. During this convening, the Peace Fellows under the Cross Border Dialogue were given a platform to add their voices.
