This 11-minutes film was collectively produced by a group of 15 youth from the refugee and host community of Kiryandongo refugee settlement in Kiryandongo district. This was the third group to attend RLP’s 2-weeks boot camp training in basic video advocacy that took place in Gulu from 1th – 22nd June 2018 with funding support from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The film highlights the continued misuse of mosquito nets in communities; with nets being used, among others, to cover plants in gardens, as bathing sponges, for fishing as well as making play items like footballs for children. This misuse leaves many households susceptible to malaria.
