Fears and Tears: Kyangwali Refugee Settlement

As the number of refugees in settlements increases daily, their need for services also increases. Many refugees are denied their right to movement, right to health, access to justice among others. Their lives are kept in the state of Fear and Tears. The Legal and Psychosocial department of the Refugee Law Project regularly make field visits into refugee settlements. These visits aim at carrying out situational assessment of refugees needs, provision of on spot legal and psychosocial services among others. This movie highlights one of the visits into Kyangwali Refugee Settlement in Hoima, western Uganda conducted from from the 11th to 20th June 2011.
