Stephen Oola
He was the Programme Manager - Conflict, Transitional Justice & Governance prior to which position he was the Coordinator of the DFID funded Advisory Consortium on Conflict Sensitivity (ACCS). He holds a Masters of Arts Degree in International Peace Studies from University of Notre Dame- USA and a Law Degree (Hons) from Makerere University-Kampala, Uganda. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre-Kampala and a Post Graduate Diploma in Conflict Management and Peace Studies (PGC) from Gulu University- Gulu, Uganda. Oola is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda. Oola's interest and research area is in forced migration governance, human rights, transitional justice and peace building. Oola is currently leading the National Reconciliation and Transitional Justice (NR &TJ) Audit-a Country-wide study to map out conflicts and their legacies in Uganda and its ramifications to transitional justice initiatives.
