Hidden Bruises is a documentary about refugee Women and girls who live in Kampala city in Uganda. They find themselves caught in the web of survival. Many of them have suffered sexual and gender based violence such as rape, which has left them with children born out of rape. Many young girls have fled unaccompanied and ill prepared for the rigors of adult life and challenges of survival.
